We will ask you lots of questions to ensure that one of our kittens is right for you, of course you in turn are welcomed to ask us lots of questions to ensure you are happy with us as breeders, we reserve the right to refuse requests for kittens to those who we feel are not the right home for our kittens.
Please make sure that all members of your family are in agreement with you adding a kitten to your family prior to contacting me and that you or anybody that will be spending a lot of time around the kitten are not allergic to cats.
All new owners will be required to sign a homing agreement. (Copy available on request.)
Visitors are welcome by prior arrangement (with no obligation to purchase), but please do not visit more than one cattery in any day.
We ask that you visit our home to see the kittens in their own environment and to satisfy yourselves that we are the breeders for you, should you wish to purchase a kitten, you will be able to provisionally reserve the kitten of your choice until you are able to visit the kitten at 9 weeks of age once it has had its first vaccination and vet check. Once you have visited the kitten and decided that you would like it to join your family a non-refundable deposit of £100 will be required. Refunds would only be given if we are unable to supply your chosen kitten for whatever reason and are not able to offer you an alternative that you are happy with.
No kitten will be reserved without a deposit and the kitten will not become yours until full payment has been received and the homing agreement signed. Our kittens will not be homed on a first come first served basis, but will be homed to the most suitable environment for them. It would not be appropriate to place a quiet kitten in a very busy household or an outgoing kitten who loves hussle and bussle in a quiet household. Our kittens are brought up in our home with children of all ages, small dogs, other cats and a variety of noises, so are happy and well adjusted and are very much loved, we expect the same for them in their new homes.
Ragdolls are people orientated cats and are used to lots of attention in our home, so we do not home to people who work all day and are not prepared to obtain (if they don’t already have) a companion for the kitten (e.g. another kitten (doesn’t have to be pedigree) or a dog. We like to keep in touch with the people who have our kittens and love to receive updates, we also enjoy visiting our kittens in their new homes if at all possible. We are able to offer a delivery service, for the cost of fuel used, provided you have been to see the kitten in its home environment.
